Group Travel Manager
Location – London, Leeds or Dublin 
Hybrid  - 2 days per week (Dublin only) 

12-Month FTC / Secondment

The Group Travel Manager is a key member of Flutter Entertainment’s close-knit Global Travel team, supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of our global travel programme across international markets and brands and reporting into the Global Lead of Travel.

This role requires someone who is happy to work collaboratively, roll up their sleeves and get involved across both strategic and operational activity. The team works very closely together, with everyone supporting each other and contributing equally to ensure we deliver a high-quality travel service for the business.

The role combines supplier management, policy support, traveller engagement, data analysis, operational problem-solving and continuous improvement. From helping negotiate supplier agreements and reviewing spend data, to supporting traveller communications, resolving day-to-day issues and identifying better ways of working, this person will play an important part in helping the team deliver a cost-effective, compliant and traveller-focused programme.

What you’ll do   

  • Subject matter expert on Flutter’s end-to-end travel program

  • Analyse travel data to identify trends, opportunities and create senior leadership power point packs.

  • Helps manging the global supplier relationships performing quarterly business review meetings & renegotiating contracts.

  • Oversight of the travel management company including operational issues, SLA's, management reporting systems, and adherence to policy.

  • Manage travel spend reports to internal stakeholders, provide a comprehensive financial analysis and make recommendations. 

  • Review Global Travel Policy for the Group, reviewing regularly to ensure alignment with market best practice.

  • Identify savings opportunities and service enhancements, initiate process improvements and deployment of benchmarking-generated best practices.

  • Work with key stakeholders in Risk, Security and the business to support the implementation of a Travel Risk Framework for the Group.

  • Lead on engagement initiatives with Flutter travellers including travel road shows in Flutter locations and identify opportunities for enhancing engagement.

  • Identifying market trends, leading transformation initiatives that position the company as an industry leader.

  • Familiar with RFP’s for strategic sourcing ensuring maximised savings and competitive rates achieved.

  • Manage process for supplier’s payments and invoices.

How you’ll do it   

  • Have a well established background and experience within the travel industry.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy, strong understanding of data analytics.

  • Ability to create presentation decks for leadership that influence decisions.

  • Ability to analyse big volumes of data to identify opportunities, trends and risks.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Power Point & MS Excel

  • Demonstrated experience with supplier relationship management.

  • Understanding of corporate travel processes, technology and systems.

  • Effective team player with excellent communication skills.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Able to deal with internal stakeholders at all levels within a highly complex organisation.

  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive to completion effectively.
