6-Month Secondment / Fixed-Term Contract

As Lead Sourcing Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering Flutter’s sourcing strategy across Corporate and Professional Services categories globally. You will lead complex, high-value sourcing programmes, drive commercial value, influence senior stakeholders, and help mature procurement capability across the Group.

This is a highly visible role requiring strategic thinking, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional engagement to unlock value, reduce risk, and strengthen supplier partnerships.

Experience in Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Facilities Management, or Workplace Services sourcing is highly advantageous.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives across a broad Corporate & Professional Services portfolio, including Professional Services, HR, Finance, Legal, Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate (CRE), and Workplace Services.

  • Own complex, high-value sourcing programmes end-to-end — from opportunity assessment and category planning through to market engagement, RFI/RFP/RFQ execution, supplier selection, commercial negotiation, contracting, and implementation.

  • Develop and implement category strategies aligned to business priorities, leveraging market intelligence, supplier insights, spend analytics, and demand management to drive measurable commercial outcomes and long-term value creation.

  • Act as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing sourcing decisions, challenging demand where appropriate, and ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.

  • Lead commercial negotiations with strategic suppliers, balancing cost, quality, service, innovation, and risk while fostering strong supplier relationships and partnership models.

  • Deliver robust financial and commercial analysis to support sourcing strategies, executive business cases, supplier decisions, and procurement recommendations.

  • Drive supplier performance and governance, ensuring appropriate risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement frameworks are embedded across key spend areas.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Legal, Real Estate, Facilities, Procurement, and Business Leaders to deliver sourcing initiatives effectively and consistently across regions.

  • Shape and manage the sourcing pipeline, supporting procurement transformation objectives and contributing to broader Group procurement priorities.

  • Champion sourcing best practice, governance, and consistency across procurement activity, driving transparency, commercial rigour, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Mentor and support junior sourcing professionals, helping build capability and foster a high-performance, collaborative procurement culture.

  • Prepare and present executive-level insights, sourcing recommendations, and commercial outcomes to senior leadership.

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, Supply Chain, or Commercial roles, with a proven track record delivering complex sourcing initiatives and commercial outcomes.

  • Significant experience leading end-to-end sourcing and tendering processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), supplier selection, and high-value contract negotiations.

  • Strong expertise across Corporate and/or Professional Services categories, including areas such as Consulting, HR, Finance, Legal, Facilities, or Real Estate.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including cost modelling, value identification, budgeting, and business case development.

  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, balancing business priorities while delivering commercially sound sourcing decisions.

  • Strong analytical capability, with experience using data and market insights to identify opportunities, mitigate supplier risk, and improve commercial outcomes.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to convert complex analysis into clear, compelling recommendations for executive audiences.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with experience managing senior stakeholders and strategic suppliers.

  • A resilient, adaptable, and delivery-focused mindset, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed, and evolving environment.

  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including mentoring, influencing, and driving sourcing excellence across teams.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Deep experience across Professional Services categories, including Management Consulting, Legal, Finance, Risk, Audit, or Advisory Services.

  • Experience or interest in Corporate Real Estate (CRE), including facilities management, workplace services, capital projects, or property-related sourcing.

  • Experience building category strategies and delivering measurable value through supplier consolidation, commercial optimisation, and partnership management.

  • Strong executive presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex commercial strategies to senior stakeholders.

  • Interest in leveraging emerging technologies, AI, and digital procurement tools to enhance sourcing effectiveness and supplier management.

  • Experience operating in a global, matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
