Your next move

If you thrive on pace, enjoy taking initiative and are ready to adapt when things change, you’ll feel at home here. We’re looking for people who bring energy and curiosity, ask the right questions and find a way forward when the answer isn’t obvious. This is your opportunity to bring that mindset to the Tax Team, where you’ll assist with all aspects of indirect tax and working with multiple stakeholders across Group Tax, finance and other areas of the business.

What you'll take on

  • Support the implementation and ongoing advancement of the global Indirect Tax Operating Model, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities and hand-offs between Tax, Finance, and the business.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on indirect tax process design, controls and governance, supporting standardisation and scalability across jurisdictions.
  • Partner with Finance, Transformation, Technology and Operations teams on operating model changes, system implementations and process improvements, ensuring VAT impacts and risks are identified and addressed early.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of indirect tax processes and controls, identifying control gaps, inefficiencies and emerging risks, and supporting remediation actions.
  • Support documentation of global indirect tax processes, controls, governance frameworks and operating procedures.
  • Final preparation of relevant group compliance and assisting with tax audits and queries.
  • Work with the wider team to provide clear, practical VAT advisory support to stakeholders on business activities, operating changes, new products, market entries and transformations.
  • Support VAT risk identification, assessment and mitigation in line with the Group’s tax strategy and risk appetite.
  • Work closely with senior Indirect Tax team members on more complex or high-risk advisory matters, escalating issues appropriately.
  • Support engagement with third-party advisers where required to obtain specialist or local market advice.

What you'll bring

  • Solid technical knowledge of VAT and indirect taxes within a multi-jurisdictional setting.
  • Ability to interpret technical tax issues and convey clear, practical, and commercially-relevant advice.
  • Solid understanding of tax operating models, process design and controls.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capability, with attention to detail and sound professional judgement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a dynamic environment.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professionally qualified in a relevant tax, accounting or finance qualification (e.g. CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Demonstrable experience in indirect tax / VAT, gained within industry and/or professional practice.
  • Experience supporting or working within global or regional tax operating models is desirable.
  • Exposure to indirect tax advisory in relation to business change, systems, or operational transformation is advantageous.
