OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE ​

We are seeking a technically proficient Finance EPM Planning  Senior Analyst to manage the technical configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of our EPM Planning environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle EPM with experience in PBCS development projects, system administration, data integration, and technical support. The successful candidate will ensure that current requirements continue to be met and will be responsible for incremental development work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES ​

• Lead Oracle EPM Cloud Planning module initiatives to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Provide expertise in financial planning process improvement through system enhancements and efficient use of Oracle EPM Cloud capabilities.
• Develop and maintain EPM Planning applications, including metadata management, web forms, task lists, business rules and data integrations.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics within Oracle EPM Cloud, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery to stakeholders.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the systems, related architecture and processes directly involving Finance across the Group including inputs and outputs to the processes.
• Perform system administration tasks, including user access management and troubleshooting issues.
• Ensure the system adheres to internal controls and compliance standards, supporting audit and data governance requirements.
• Provide support for users during month-end, quarterly and year-end Finance closing, Budget/Forecast, Long Term Plan cycles, and managerial reporting processes.
• Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather requirements, design planning models, and implement best practices for budgeting, forecasting, and analytics.
• Collaborate on the EPM systems roadmap, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our EPM suite of products.
• Preparation and maintenance of clear documentation of relevant processes, procedures and control
• Optimize applications and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in managing the EPM infrastructure, which includes cloud applications (SAAS) and Oracle OCI infrastructure.

Collaborating with key individuals involved

• Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical specifications, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
• Support users within the EPM community and across the wider business, enabling efficient utilization of EPM functionalities.
• Collaborate actively with the Finance teams across the Group to identify and implement continuous process and system improvements, driving our business initiatives forward.
• Support system training programs and conduct training sessions for global business users.
• Play an active role in mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering excellence and expanding our knowledge base.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in deployment and support of Oracle EPM PBCS applications
• Proven experience with design, configuration, and administration of Oracle EPM Cloud Planning solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Groovy scripts.
• Hands-on experience with the EPM module Profitability and Cost Management (PCM).
• Experience on other EPM modules (EDM, FCCS, TRCS, ARCS, or Narrative Reporting) is a plus.
• Experience in EPM Data Management / Data Exchange.
• Experience with data integrations tools (ODI, OIC), SQL and relational databases.
• Experience in EPM Automate / EPM REST APIs.
• Experience in implementing Transfer Pricing solutions in EPM is a plus.
• Experience in implementing Legal Entity Forecasting solutions in EPM is a plus.
• Experience with the recently released ESG Reporting EPM module is a plus.
• Experience with the recently released Predictive Cash Forecasting EPM module is a plus.

• Motivated to learn new technologies and expand your functional and technical expertise to other Oracle EPM Cloud products.
• Oracle EPM Cloud certification is a plus.
