Job Description
We are looking for a Financial Analyst (Graduate) to join our Group Accounting & Reporting (GA&R) team at Flutter. As a Financial Analyst, you will play an important role in assisting the GA&R team with its monthly management reporting requirements and with the preparation of the annual and quarterly U.S. GAAP financial statements and the annual IFRS report. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams and actively contribute to the Group’s accurate accounting and reporting.
What you’ll do

Support the month-end close process within Group deadlines for assigned channels of the GA&R function, including the preparation and posting of journal entries

Assist with the preparation of various sections within quarterly and annual reports, in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.

Assist with the preparation of the annual report, in accordance with IFRS.

Support divisional finance teams, financial planning and analysis (FP&A) teams with ad-hoc accounting, analytical and financial reporting matters.

Work with team members to document accounting processes and internal controls, as needed.

Maintain compliance with SOX requirements, including assisting in certain tasks to comply with SOX controls, as needed.

Support ad-hoc activities and initiatives, as needed.
How you’ll do it

Must hold a recognised accounting/finance degree
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks and drive adherence to deadlines.

Strong communication skills.

Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Prior accounting/financial reporting experience is preferred
-
Experience of Oracle ERP or other similar financial systems is an advantage.

Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
