Join our Flutter Pensions team within Group Functions and make a difference! As a Pension Governance Manager at Flutter, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and driving our pension provision and the governance behind it. You will contribute to the implementation of a governance plan that align with our evolving goals. Your main responsibility will be to lead on all pension governance activity and work with our internal and external stakeholders to achieve this.

This is a newly created role within the Flutter Pensions team. You will be part of a wider Benefits team overseeing benefits for employees across the Flutter Group.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct and maintain a comprehensive audit on all occupational retirement/saving plans across the Flutter Group identifying and documenting all pension/saving provisions.
  • Create, manage and administer a Group pension governance framework and an internal governance committee. Produce and present regular dashboards and data points to the governance committee and senior stakeholders focussing on key metrics including regulatory compliance and performance of total pension assets under management.
  • Lead on all pension governance activity across Flutter Group, ensuring compliance with local governance structures and relevant taxation approaches (for example leading on future auto-enrolment introductions).
  • Monitor and provide oversight of ongoing or future legislative/regulatory changes and highlight any areas of focus.
  • Be the point of contact for any risk & legal changes to Flutter that may impact pensions, partnering with internal team and external suppliers where appropriate.
  • To oversee pension supplier performance, reviewing regularly and updating relevant stakeholders.
  • To oversee any administration issues including regular processing of retirement schemes, breakdown of process, member complaints/concerns etc.
  • Work closely with the Flutter Benefits team to identify process improvements and be part of the annual renewal project team.
  • Other duties as required to support the Flutter Pensions team, working closely with the Senior Pension Specialist to support the Senior Pensions & Benefits Manager

What we are looking for

  • Demonstrable expertise in defined contribution pensions across UK, Ireland and Internationally.
  • Pension technical expertise/experience (for example a professional pension qualification from the PMI would be preferable)
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management and communication skills and comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills alongside advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Good experience of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate analysis and insights from data .
  • Experience developing strong working relationships with internal teams and strategic external partners.
  • Confident in navigating within a complex environment and will work well with ambiguity.
