Role Overview/Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EDMCS Senior Analyst to manage the development configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of our EDM environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle EDM with a minimum of 5 years hands on experience of EDM implementation projects, as well as system administration, data integration, and technical support. The candidate will also have significant experience in formal Data Governance processes in a large multinational environment.
The successful candidate will ensure successful delivery of new while current requirements continue to be met.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Design, development, testing and deployment EDM applications
- Design, configure and maintain all application components, such as views, dimensions, node types, validations, subscriptions and approval policies for both new implementations and current environment
- Design, develop and maintain integrations between EDM and other EPM Cloud applications, Oracle ERP (EBS and Fusion) and other external applications ensuring accurate and timely data flow
- Perform routine system maintenance and admin tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDM technical issues, providing hands-on support to end-users as needed
- Monitor system performance and conduct root cause analysis for technical issues.
- Work closely with functional teams to identify opportunities for system enhancements, process automation, and optimization
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and end-users to ensure best practice principles are followed
- Prepare documentation deliverables technical configurations, processes and troubleshooting guides, maintaining a knowledge base for internal use
- Stay updated with Oracle EDMCS updates and new features, making recommendations for system improvements and upgrades
- Deliver training and support to end-users and project teams, creating documentation and promoting smooth adoption of EDMCS
Collaboration with stakeholders
- Ability to understand and bridge the gap between business requirements and technical specifications
- Support users within the EPM community and in the wider business enabling EPM functionalities to be leveraged in an efficient manner across the business
- Collaborating effectively and actively with key business partners to identify and implement continuous process and system improvements to drive business initiatives
- Supporting system training programs and conducting training sessions to global business users
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in developing and supporting Oracle EDMCS
- Strong understanding of data governance practices and data quality principles
- Proficiency in data modelling, hierarchy management, and metadata governance within the Oracle EDM
- Experience with system integration and data flows between Oracle EDM and other enterprise systems (e.g., EPM, ERP, BI).
- Experience in EPM Data Management and EPM Automate
- Experience with Groovy is a plus
- Experience in ODI is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration and automation issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and business units, to deliver solutions that meet data integration requirements.
- Experience on other EPM modules (PBCS, FCCS, TRCS, ARCS) is a plus.
- Experience with Groovy scripts is a plus.
- Oracle EPM Cloud certification is a plus.
- Motivated to learn new technologies and expand your functional and technical expertise to other Oracle EPM Cloud products.
