Role Overview

This role will be responsible for supporting HR compliance initiatives, improving internal controls, liaising with Data Protection teams, supporting with HR audits, supporting with global HR policy and assisting in the preparation for SOX compliance within the function alongside handling HR operational administration and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role to support the execution of compliance monitoring programs to assess HR processes, policies, and procedures regularly for compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Deputise for the HR Audit & Compliance Manager in cases of absence, providing support and coaching to HR Compliance Analyst & HR Compliance Assistant
  • Support Group HR Operations-related audits, including external audits by independent auditors, by facilitating audit requests, gathering documentation, and addressing audit findings.
  • Collaborate in HR risk assessments and control evaluations to identify gaps and weaknesses in Group HR Operations processes and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Support and advise, with support of Data protection teams on GDPR and data protection issues to the HR community alongside maintaining data protection records and registers.
  • Support in maintaining a HR compliance culture within HR Operations, maintaining the link between HR operations and wider compliance and audit teams
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports on audit findings, compliance status, and recommended actions for HR leadership and senior management.
  • Support in creation of HR controls and operating procecedures to manage compliance activities and establish effective review
  • Support with people related investigations as required, where breaches have been idenfified and corrective measures required
  • Support with general HR compliance administration, including building support HR documents, playbooks and matrixes
  • Assist in the preparation and management of SOX compliance efforts within Group HR Operations. Ensure HR controls, documentation, and processes align with SOX requirements, and plugging non conformity gaps

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in HR related topic desirable
  • CIPD Qualification or country specific best practice HR qualification
  • Previous experience working in a dynamic, challenging and dynamic environment
  • Extensive experience in HR compliance, SOX compliance, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of global HR compliance regulations, Data protection, HR audit and SOX requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with working with a range of senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work and collaborate in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Previous experience in a HR compliance function
