Role purpose
Reporting to the Treasury Manager, Banking Compliance & Control, the role will play a key part in maintaining and administering Flutter’s Group Treasury compliance & control objectives. This role is suited to individuals with strong technical ability, and demonstrable interpersonal, communication and networking skills. Experience of treasury and banking compliance for a large multinational company is essential.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Supporting the Treasury Manager in cultivating and developing relationships with the group’s banking partners, particularly in respect of matters pertaining to treasury compliance and bank administration.
- Working collaboratively with members of the Treasury team, compliance, licencing and legal functions in the completion of Know-Your-Customer (KYC) banking requirements and due diligence reviews.
- Developing new operational banking relationships in regulated markets in line with Group Treasury strategy.
- Ensuring that all group & divisional bank mandates and signatories are in line with and recorded within Group Treasury policy and standards.
- Maintaining group and divisional bank guarantees and letters of credit within the group’s Treasury Management System (TMS), and administering any updates, new issuances or cancellations in a timely fashion.
- Managing the processing of treasury related expenses through the expenses system.
- Assisting with the timely completion of audit queries from our group and divisional auditors.
- Developing and maintaining centralised banking compliance information, ensuring it is fit for purpose and scalable across the group’s banking relationships.
- Managing the day-to-day credit card programme for Group Functions and assisting with the development of new monthly reporting.
- Working closely alongside other pillars of Group Treasury with projects contributing towards the team’s strategic objectives.
- Assisting with on-boarding of new employees to online banking portals and making amendments to existing user profiles based on changing business requirements.
- New business support including new jurisdictions – providing assistance in terms of new bank account set-up and onboarding of any acquisitions in line with group treasury policy & standards.
- Assisting with regulatory & compliance requirements for the Group including the Sarbanes–Oxley Act.
- Assisting with Oracle and finance system related integration tasks, including General Ledger code management.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Treasury or banking professional, with at least 1 year of relevant treasury or banking/gaming compliance experience.
- Ability to build good networks and relationships with internal and external parties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to convey ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Flexible, enjoying a frequently changing environment with a positive attitude and desire to constantly improve.
- Proactivity and innovation – highly self-motivated and directed.
- Strong time management, organisational and multi-tasking skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Exposure to the gaming industry, directly or via a bank, is advantageous.
