Role purpose:

The Systems Risk & Controls team is part of the Global Finance Technology Department working with the various Finance Technology teams to support their adherence to the Flutter governance framework. Working as part of the roll out of the SOX workstream, the team work across controls implementation, assurance and improvements.

This role is a hybrid between GRC and IT audit supporting the Finance Systems teams. The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the various Finance Systems teams to ensure their IT controls meet SOX standards, addressing any identified deficiencies, and implementing controls for new systems as part of a major transformation program. The main aim objective is to ensure compliance of IT controls for both existing and new systems, and that controls are standardised and appropriate, whilst bringing efficiencies to the systems team where possible.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with Control Owners to drive response to, and action on, audit findings and deficiencies to closure.

  • For all finance systems, support the System and Control Owners with generating and maintaining high standard quality controls documentation.

  • For systems where there are established controls in place, support System Owners in enhancing existing controls framework.

  • For both newer systems and systems being implemented, supporting to implement a controls framework.

  • Work with fellow team members on audit documentation and efficiencies.

Skills & Experience

  • Understanding of IT General Computing Controls (ITGCs) including proper design and implementation, monitoring, and reporting any assurance issues is a must.

  • Internal Controls or IT audit experience with knowledge of SOX controls is a must.

  • Understanding of IT Automated Controls (ITACs) is a nice to have.

  • 2+ years audit experience in enterprise environments.

  • Knowledge of and experience in controls of Oracle products (Oracle EBS, EPM, ODI and Fusion) is a nice to have.

  • Organised and have the ability to prioritise: there will be a lot of moving pieces of work due to the systems in scope.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

  • Ability to build positive working relationships within the business.

  • Critical thinker that can apply and implement existing GRC framework.
