Overview
We are looking for a Payments Insights & Analytics Manager to join our Group Payments Strategy team. This is an outstanding opportunity to be at the forefront of our ambitious multi-year payments strategy. You will play a crucial role in supporting Flutter’s growth ambitions and ensuring we meet user needs across diverse markets. As part of the Group COO function, you will work closely with collaborators and external partners to develop comprehensive payments-related data and analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities

Working with divisional data, insights, analytics, procurement, customer operations and finance teams, as well as a range of external third parties, lead the development of a group-wide approach to data and insights for customer payments

Define and facilitate the creation and maintenance of a global payments report and scorecard to support regular senior-management-ready reporting, analysis and insights across the Flutter payments, finance, COO and customer operations communities

Working with the Category Manager in Group Procurement, define and facilitate an appropriate set of data, insights and scorecards for partner evaluation and ongoing management, including support for key global or multi-divisional RFI/RFP and contracting processes

Conduct research and provide thought leadership across key payment insights, themes and trends with a focus on the Group Payments Strategy and Flutter’s wider strategic priorities

Support development of the Flutter Edge for payments by assisting and driving incremental benefits from collaborative activity across the Group to leverage the benefits of the scale of the group and accelerating the adoption of best practices and long-term strategic initiatives.

Gather and collate information to complete ad hoc detailed evaluations, outlining challenges, opportunities, and solutions to enable future strategies

Support business case development and approval to advance key projects and investments for the Payments Strategy

In line with Group wide data strategies, support development of a longer-term strategy for the development of an enhanced approach to the collation, sharing, analysis and reporting of payments data across the Group

Be a trusted, objective, data-driven strategic partner for the business, making recommendations on critical decisions as required

Be a central point of co-ordination and knowledge sharing across the payments insights and analytics communities

Support the Director of Group Payments Strategy to achieve the overall goals and team goals

Act as an ambassador for the Group Payments Strategy team across the Group

Strong experience in data, insights, or analytics roles within a fast-paced, global organization.

Key Requirements/Experience

Proficiency with key data, analytics, and reporting tools such as Microstrategy, Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics, and SQL.

Experience in the payments industry, either within a large-scale payments organization or a merchant payments team, with knowledge of market, operational, and commercial dynamics.

Commercial acumen in a payments environment, including experience with payments operational data and third-party commercial arrangements.

Ideally, experience within the online gaming industry.
