Position Title: Strategic Partnership Manager
Position: 6 Month Fixed term contract

Reports to: Head of Strategic Supplier Partnerships
Role Purpose:
The Procurement function at Flutter is tasked with overseeing external third-party spending that exceeds £5 billion annually across our four divisions. To assist in managing this expenditure, a sourcing team is positioned within each division, working alongside the Group Procurement function. This function is responsible for overseeing global contracts, managing supplier risk, maintaining key systems, and handling contract management. Additionally, it formulates strategy, governance, and policy for our entire supplier portfolio.
As a component of the Group Procurement function, Flutter has developed a Strategic Supplier Programme (SSP) for key strategic partners. This initiative is designed to reinforce our mutually beneficial relationships, mitigate risk, and jointly fuel growth. The SSP is led by the Head of Strategic Supplier Partnerships in close collaboration with the business.
The Strategic Partnership Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading the SSP strategy. This includes setting objectives, prioritizing initiatives, and overseeing their execution across the business.
This position is crucial for supporting and advancing our supplier relationships. It aims to synthesize value creation opportunities within these relationships, thereby enhancing profitability for both Flutter and its partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build, support, and deliver Flutter’s SSP ambition in close collaboration with the Head of Strategic Supplier Partnership
- Lead and work closely with the business to identify current and future key strategic partners
- Synthesise industry trends across the supplier landscape and what the impact is short, medium and long-term.
- Support the Flutter ecosystem to advance group-wide value creation and innovation opportunities
- Work with the business to leverage supplier relationships to drive strategic opportunities
- Utilize communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and best practices knowledge to assist in designing, developing, and deploying tailored supplier strategies that lead to actionable plans.

Experience and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of strategic commercial experience.
- Effective story-lining/storyboarding and deck creation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building.
- Proficient in navigating both upward and downward in a complex organizational structure.
- Task-oriented and highly organised.
- Able to synthesize information quickly.
- Strong customer focus, with a keen understanding of business needs.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data and analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A self-starter who is passionate, with the highest level of integrity and ethics.

- Experience and knowledge about the sports betting, gaming, and entertainment industry not required but an advantage.
