Title: Technology PMO Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking an PMO Manager to join our new shared capability centre (HSCC) based in Hyderabad, integrating into our broader, Global Operating Model.

You will lead, inspire and motivate a multi-disciplinary team of Technology Delivery Managers and Project Co-Ordinators and work alongside them and the wider Tech Team to deliver within a high-quality and outcome-oriented culture. This role will serve as a liaison between Delivery Managers, Tech and key stakeholder(s), internal or external. For this, we expect you to actively work with Delivery Managers guiding them in alignment of initiatives and priorities, and identifying risks and dependencies throughout all phases of these initiatives. You will own the overall technology roadmap, and be responsible for delivery of the plans, which includes ownership of overall service delivery, and expectation management at a senior management level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall tech roadmap, working with Delivery Managers, Project Co-Ordinators, People Technology, other HR Operations teams to ensure the successful execution of the Technology roadmap.
  • Own resource management across the Tech Function, and wider as necessary, to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification of stakeholders.
  • Own and develop the Project Management frameworks (Waterfall and Agile), providing suitable training and coaching to Delivery Manager and Project Co-Ordinators, and the wider tech team as required.
  • Owner of overall service provided by Tech, ensuring that stakeholders are kept informed, relevant project documentation is created, managed and maintained.
  • Owner of Incident Management, ensuring that delivery managers are working effectively with Product Owners and Analysts to meet SLA’s, and that necessary PIR’s are actioned and plans followed up.
  • Responsible for adequate reporting of projects utilising Jira as the system of choice, reporting at a programme level against any risks and expected delivery of projects.
  • Support in project delivery for key projects that span across Product Areas as identified, connecting and engaging the right people for projects and managing through to delivery.
  • Operate in a global Operating Model, working with key stakeholders located in a number of different locations.

Skills & Experience

  • A technical background with a proven track record of leading a team of delivery professionals undertaking complex software projects across Workday and other HR Technologies;
  • Experienced in owning and managing a programme of technology projects, prioritising demand at a divisional level.
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management skills to engage, communicate, compromise and gain success during our product lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, particularly concerning technical risks, issues, and constraints;
  • Senior principles, leading by example, showing work ethic and passionate, professional attitude;
  • Knowledge of distributed, redundant, and transactional systems;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English);
  • Proven track record of Incident & Change Management;
  • Experience using defect tracking systems (Jira preferred)
  • Hold a programme/portfolio management qualification, ideally Prince P30
