Role Summary
We are seeking a People Systems Security Manager to join our new shared capability centre (HSCC) based in Hyderabad, integrating into our broader, Global Operating Model.
As People Systems Security Manager you will bring in data and security expertise to ensure the right frameworks and controls are in place across our people technology solutions. With the support of data and security analysts, you will collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to implement and maintain robust data assurance processes and security standards.
This role will fit in as part of the Global People Technology delivery model, with opportunity to work with different stakeholders based in different countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of all people-related data, including availability, access, governance, and compliance.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and owner of security framework within the People Technology team and ensure security access rights and changes adhere to appropriate governance forums.
- Oversee the mapping of data workflows related to technical change processes.
- Lead and mentor a team of data and security analysts, ensuring they are aligned with the data and security strategies and priorities set forth.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external data standards and regulations, as advised by audit and compliance counterparts.
- Oversee solutioning of security-related issues within HR systems and ensure escalations (e.g. data breaches) are managed appropriately with the right stakeholders engaged.
- Input and act as data and security SME into impact assessments of system changes from a security and access perspective.
- Provide expertise and advice to the product team on security implications for system design and configuration.
- Drive best practices for system security, including policy/domain setup and configuration.
- Oversee and ensure regular vulnerability scans of systems are completed and reviewed.
- Bring forward data and security SME knowledge and insights to ensure the right controls are place, and opportunities for continuous improvement are identified, assessed, and put into place with broader People Technology colleagues.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent understanding of HR technology security policies and models.
- Demonstrated experience owning and managing information security frameworks, standards and appropriate guidelines.
- Detailed understanding of Workday Security in a global environment and how this integrates with other enabling technologies.
- Strong understanding of data quality standards and regulations.
- Experience with configuring People Technology solutions with the right security controls in place.
- Understanding of core HR processes - joiner, mover, leaver processes - in a global environment.
- Ability to operate and partner effectively within a People Technology team.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
