Senior FP&A Manager

We are looking for a Senior FP&A Manager to join us on a 9-month fixed-term contract (mat cover). 

Key roles and responsibilities:

Financial Planning

  • Support planning, co-ordination, consolidation, analysis and reporting of routine Group Budgets, Forecasts, and Long-Term Plans, including:
    • Support the planning and communication of forecast timetables
  • Support and business partner with divisional FP&A teams during planning cycles, from planning ahead to user support during the process to ensure all inputs are captured. Review final forecast to ensure no errors. Prepare commentaries and analysis as part of forecast packs
    • Support Group consolidation of forecasts and tracking of changes
  • Support preparation of Group forecast & budget packs. Includes analysis of forecast changes, preparation of commentaries/tables/graphs
  • Support preparation of Board packs
    • Support preparation of external segmental P&L at each quarterly forecast, budget and at regular intervals at other times

Financial Reporting

  • Support interims and year-end preparation
  • Support accurate and timely financial reporting for the Group, including:
  • Review and understand actual performance
  • Provide analysis and support for periodic external reports to the market.
    • Support preparation and updates to segmental P&L, including ensuring it is updated as part of rolling forecast, significant review of costs at each HY and re-development as required
    • Provide ad hoc analysis work to support investor relations requirements
    • Review statements and presentation pre reporting date
  • Business partner with divisional FP&A teams to understand performance and to help deliver reporting improvements / reflect business changes
  • Support changes in financial reporting

Key Skills and Experience

  • Qualified accountant with strong experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in FP&A desirable
  • Highly numerate with strong financial and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, collaboration and relationship building skills
  • Drives Results, well organised, thorough, detail-oriented, highest accuracy standards
