About this role:
A reward transformation programme is underway looking at how we align our approach to reward across our International (Pokerstars, Betfair International), UK&I (Paddy Power, Betfair, SBG) and Flutter Corporate divisions. These projects in particular focus on our alignment of compensation, benefits and reward policy and process across these divisions.
We have a need for a Senior Pensions & Benefits Manager to join the Flutter Benefits team to:
- Ownership of all Pension arrangements at Flutter. Taking strategic and operational decisions to ensure that we meet the compliance requirements across locations.
- Lead and own the UK Pension review to completion, which is currently underway across three UK pension plans.
- Undertake a full review of our two Ireland pension arrangements and ensure compliance in line with Irish pension reform and the upcoming 2024 pension regulation act.
- Provide strategic approach and manage other key projects as required such as the review and implementation of new Pension arrangements in other geographies in conjunction with our external advisors.
- Be our Pension subject matter expert in regards to the operation of our reward and benefits platform.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead the final stages of the UK Pension review in conjunction with our appointed provider to achieve simplification of the pension arrangements across the UK Flutter brands and Companies.
- Harmonising our plans into one go forward strategy for Ireland, selecting the appropriate pension vehicle, contribution structure redesign, Pension Plan provider selection, implementation and configuration of our online benefits system to support the new design.
- Accountable for the implementation and management of other international pension plans.
- Responsible for the service delivery of the outsourced pension plans. Manage any third party vendors and hold them accountable for accurate delivery and ensuring cyclical activities are robust and meet the needs of Flutter and its employees.
- Overseeing any pension governance arrangements at Flutter.
- Actively manage, monitor, review and continuously improve service delivery and processes with the outsourced vendors.
- Liaison with senior leadership team on personal pension issues if required.
- Simplify back office administration and automate processes where possible.
- Provide subject matter expertise on pensions operations activity to Group Reward team and wider HR function.
- Develop and enhance employee communications and education leading to an improvement in the employee experience and increased participation
- Ensure accuracy of any online or paper pension communications and processes.
- Be our pension subject matter expert in regards to the implementation of our reward and benefits platform.
- Work with the Benefits team to ensure payroll integrations for pensions operate effectively and in line with any legislative requirements.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience managing pensions in an in-house role or consultancy environment.
- International experience on Irish Pension plans and other geographies preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of pensions and employee savings plans, regulations and legislative requirements and ability to apply these in the context of role with broader HR policies and objectives.
- Understanding of different pension vehicles such as occupational DC trusts, Master Trusts and GPP’s required.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage complex reporting requirements and integrations with online benefits systems.
- Strong written and oral communications, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely. Includes experience of delivering presentations / Q&A sessions.
- Strong vendor management skills
- Flexibility to manage multiple benefit plans and ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities.
- You will be confident in navigating within a complex environment, and will work well with ambiguity.
- Ability to explain policy, process and data results to a broad range of business stakeholders including Senior Directors, HR and business management
- Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge with proven analytical skills and good experience of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate analysis and and draw recommendations/make decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail, and a methodical approach to your work
- Ability to work at pace in a complex and changing environment
- Strong written and oral communications, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Previous experience of M&A activity / benefits harmonisation considered a plus
Some working knowledge of non-pension related benefits, and desire to manage these.
