Responsibilities
- End to end management of the relocation process for our global permanent transfer and assignee population on a global scale including:
- Preparation and/or review of Relocation Agreements
- Preparation of cost estimates
- Conducting briefing calls with candidates on the relocation package and process
- Liaison with HR, Tax, Immigration, Payroll, Travel and other internal teams to ensure each move is managed appropriately
- Day to day management and development of the Global Mobility Specialist
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with key external providers for relocation, tax and immigration services, to ensure all service delivery is fit for purpose
- Primary contact for the relocation services vendor, including interpretation of relocation policies and review of any exception requests
- Provide advice and guidance to HR and the business on the appropriate relocation policy applicable for each move and any technical areas of consideration including immigration and tax issues
- Support the Global Mobility Specialist by reviewing draft documentation, reports and responses to employee queries
- Review of the monthly payroll reporting and invoicing processes, including analysis of which relocation benefits are taxable and reportable via payroll across our global markets
- Review and tracking of relocation benefits, personal tax refunds and compensation data to be shared with the external tax services provider and Tax team for employee tax return preparation and employer reporting purposes
- Assist the Senior Global Mobility Manager with identifying potential areas for process improvement and policy updates based on feedback from relocating employees and other internal stakeholders
- Assist the Senior Global Mobility Manager with preparing educational sessions and updates for the wider HR team and the business on recent Global Mobility activity across Flutter and wider industry trends
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of prior experience working in Global Mobility/Immigration/Expatriate Tax
- Good understanding of international personal/employment tax matters would be advantageous
- Experience of working for a large global organisation
- Ability to work at pace and independently in a high growth environment on a global scale
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and remaining outcome focussed
- Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
