Role purpose:
Reporting to the Group Treasury Senior Manager - Banking Operations & Reporting, the role will be responsible for treasury reporting and cash forecasting for the Flutter Group. The treasury team are implementing an in-house bank based on a bank liquidity structure and will leverage this to enhance operational efficiency and further centralise treasury operations across the group. Reporting and cash forecasting are key elements of this treasury transformation project on a journey of continual improvement to be best in class. This role is suited to individuals with strong communication skills, technical ability, knowledge of corporate treasury and have demonstrable interpersonal and networking skills.
Accountabilities:
- Preparing & presenting regular Treasury reporting to Senior Management which includes Flash Reporting, Forecasting, KPI’s and other adhoc reports requirement by Senior Management for events such as Treasury Committee, Audit Committee etc.
- Direct Cashflow Forecasting for the Group with reconciliation to the Indirect Forecast.
- Assist the Treasury Analyst for retail with the management of banking queries from the Paddy Power retail estate
- Assist the Treasury Payments team with payments for Flutter Divisions.
- Compile statistics for corporate & retail banking KPI's
- Collaborate with the Risk, Systems & Compliance teams within Treasury to ensure suitable reporting is produced.
- Assist with ongoing projects within the team and the wider Group Finance department
- Continuously review processes and procedures considering changes in systems and in requirements of the team, implementing efficiencies and demonstrably reducing manual work
- Work collaboratively with all related finance teams and other parts of the Group and our Banking partners
Key Requirements/Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant Treasury experience which includes Reporting.
- Ability to build strong networks and relationships with internal and external parties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to convey ideas in both technical and layman's terms.
- Flexible, enjoying a fast paced and frequently changing environment with a positive attitude and desire to constantly improve.
- Proactivity and innovation – highly self-motivated and directed.
- Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Exposure to the gaming industry, directly or via a bank, extremely advantageous
- Experience with an ERP and a treasury management system and preferred, with direct experience of Oracle ERP and FIS Integrity an advantage
